Bryant-Capellas, Alexa

Alexa Bryant-Capellas, better known as Ms. ABC, is an English teacher here at Ida B. Wells High School. She was born in Hawaii but grew up in Portland. She went to University of Portland and has a degree in English and Education. She has been teaching at Ida B. Wells for 4 years, and worked at Jefferson for 3 years. The 9th grade community really inspires her to continue teaching. “I really like collaborating with our teachers,'' says Ms. ABC. Outside of school, she loves to spend time with her son and watch shows with her husband. Some sports she enjoys are swimming and volleyball.
