Ana Curtis

Ana Curtis is the bookkeeper at Ida B. Wells High School and has been working off and on at different school districts for eight years. Curtis is a big fan of working with students and seeing them grow throughout the school year. Curtis loved hosting fundraisers and that is what piqued her interest in becoming a bookkeeper. Outside of school, Curtis loves to travel, garden, go out to dinner with her family and host fundraisers. Curtis never attended college, but was offered this job by the PPS district. Curtis was born in Portugal and came to the U.S. at the age of seven. She likes to stay busy and enjoys working. “Graduation is one of my favorite times to see students who struggled to get there, feel rewarded and accomplished,” said Curtis.
