Keith Early

Keith Early is a Speech Pathologist at Ida B. Wells High School in Southwest Portland. It’s his seventh year here at IBW, but he has been in the profession since 1999. Early grew up on a dairy farm near Albany, Oregon. Early also went to the University of Oregon and loves the Ducks. While at U of O he first majored in English, but soon switched his major to Speech pathology and minored in teaching. He has worked as an autism specialist. “I have always been interested in autism, particularly communication related,” said Early. He likes the community around the school, and lives in the neighborhood. Outside of school, he likes cycling and gaming. He prefers bikes to cars and agrees that cycling can be dangerous, but it’s still worth it.
