Keith Higbee (He/Him)

Kevin Higbee has been teaching yearbook and English at Ida B. Wells High School for the last 25 years. He is an active board game player and loves kayaking and playing with his four cats, mentioning that “you should have a cat for each person in your household... I broke that rule.” Higbee got his major in medieval literature, English and teaching. He went to four colleges including University of Oregon, St. Johns, NYU and University of Washington. Higbee has been a big part of our community at IBW and plans to stay here until he retires.
