Mike Nolan

Mike Nolan has been a part of the Ida B. Wells community for 23 years. He started his teaching career at Benson High School as a social studies teacher, basketball coach, and baseball coach. Now at Ida B. Wells, he continues to teach social studies and coach basketball. He currently holds the position of athletic director. “Athletics have always been a huge part of my life, so I jumped at the opportunity when this job opened up,” Nolan says. Nolan was born and raised in Monroe, OR, and attended Southern Oregon University before going to Pacific University to earn his master's degree. Outside of school, Nolan enjoys golfing, painting, and spending time with his family, which he says is his biggest accomplishment in life.
