Izabella Pena

Izabella Pena is a Business and Accounting teacher here at Ida B. Wells High School. She was born in Hungary and moved to Portland. She went to PSU for a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance, University of Portland for a Masters in Business, and Pacific University for a Master of Arts in Teaching. She has worked at Ida B. Wells for 3 years and 4 years in the Hillsboro School District. Before teaching, she worked at Intel Corporation for 15 years in finance. Ms. Pena’s favorite part about teaching is working with the students. “Truly, for me, I love hanging out with students,” says Ms. Pena. Outside of school, Ms. Pena enjoys playing volleyball and dancing. She also loves to spend time with her 9 year old daughter.
