Petrocchi, Tim

Mr. Petrocchi never dreamed of becoming a teacher, but through subbing he realized he enjoys making relationships with his students and found his passion for teaching. Petrocchi teaches English. This is his second year teaching at Ida B. Wells though he has been teaching for 22 years. He says he was “called by the siren's song of Portland,” and has stayed here ever since, though later in life he would like to move and retire to New Zealand. “Don’t try to run away from who you are, run towards the person you want to be,” says Petrocchi.
