Katie Sullivan

Katie Sullivan teaches Printmaking and Draw, Paint, Print in the 2D Art and Design Pathway here at Ida B. Wells. She grew up in New Jersey and studied Art at Lewis & Clark College and Portland State University. Prior to teaching at Ida B. Wells, she taught at Reynolds High School. She loves teaching because she likes to create spaces that inspire others. Printmaking is one of her favorite things, and she is excited to be teaching this at Ida B. Wells. Sullivan loves having a diverse set of students in her classes. “Every class I learn something new from my students,” says Sullivan. “I’m grateful.” In her free time, she loves printmaking, taking pictures, building projects, cooking, surfing, hanging out with her daughter, and seeing friends.
